Karen Beyea-Schroeder joined Fleming | Nolen | Jez, L.L.P. in February 2009. Her focus is matters involving class actions, mass actions, medical negligence, personal injury, products liability, and commercial disputes.

She is originally from the East Coast and graduated from Canisius College with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Psychology. After she obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1997, she began her legal career in the United States Army, where she worked as a Military Prosecutor and Special Assistant United States Attorney. In the military, she also worked as a Claims Attorney in addition to assisting soldiers and their families with various legal issues. After leaving the military in late 2000, Karen spent the next eight years practicing wrongful death, personal injury and premises liability law in New Jersey and Texas.

Karen is licensed to practice in Arizona, New Jersey, New York and Texas. She is also licensed to practice in the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, District of New Jersey, Eastern District of Texas, Southern District of Texas federal courts.
