Sylvia Davidow is originally from Canada, where she taught English. After her family relocated to Houston, she attended law school and began her legal career in 1986 at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston. Sylvia served as a briefing and research attorney at the court, where she assisted appellate judges in handling appeals and drafting opinions. She also taught legal writing at the University of Houston. After leaving the court in 1988, Sylvia spent the next 10 years practicing employment, benefits, and appellate law.

Sylvia joined Fleming | Nolen | Jez, L.L.P.in 1998, bringing to the firm 12 years of wide-ranging pretrial and appellate experience.
